Description of Service

Interior Castle is a Catholic devotional app rooted in the spiritual writings of Saint Teresa of Ávila, Doctor of the Church. It offers a thirty-day retreat through the Seven Mansions of her Las Moradas, a daily prayer flow drawing on the classical movements of Lectura, Meditación, Quietud, Coloquio, and Acción de Gracias, the Ignatian Examen in its traditional five-step structure, a prayer library of central Catholic prayers in Spanish and English, a reading library with passages from Las Moradas, Camino de Perfección, and Libro de la Vida, a daily Teresian quote, and a bilingual Spanish-English presentation throughout. It is designed as a companion for personal prayer and the slow walk through Saint Teresa's interior castle.

Philothea is a Catholic devotional app rooted in the spiritual writings of Saint Francis de Sales, Doctor of the Church, gentle Bishop of Geneva, and co-founder of the Order of the Visitation of Holy Mary. It offers a thirty-day retreat through his Introduction à la vie dévote (1609), with a 40-day Lenten variant and a four-week Advent variant; a six-step daily prayer flow drawing on the Salesian movements of Preparatory Prayer, Composition of Place, Petition for Grace, Meditation Points, Colloquy with the Lord, and a closing Pater Noster; Morning Preparation and Evening Examination drawn from Introduction II.9–11 (the Salesian gentler form, distinct from the Ignatian Examen); a prayer library of Salesian short prayers and the central prayers of the Catholic Tradition (Pater Noster, Ave Maria, Gloria Patri, Anima Christi, and others) in French and English; a Letter of the Week rotating through fifty real letters from his correspondence; a slow reading of his Traité de l'amour de Dieu (twelve books); a Companion of the Day drawing on the Salesian school; a Citation of the Day drawn from 365 sourced citations; the Direction of Intention (the Visitation's small practice of a word at the start of every task); and a bilingual French-English presentation throughout. It is designed as a companion for personal prayer and the slow walk through Saint Francis's introduction to the devout life.

Sanctified Souls is a Catholic devotional app offering a daily saint with artwork and biography, daily prayers, the liturgical calendar, a digital journal, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, the Rosary, a virtue-of-the-week journey, and a reading library. It is designed as a companion for personal prayer and reflection.

St. Bridget Prayers is a Catholic devotional app dedicated to the prayers and writings of Saint Bridget of Sweden. It offers daily prayers, prayer tracking for the 12-Year and 1-Year devotions, extended readings from the Revelations, and a prayer journal.

The Little Way is a Catholic devotional app for children and families, formed in the spirit of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux's Little Way.

Suscipe is a Catholic devotional app rooted in the Ignatian tradition, formed in the spirit of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. It offers the Daily Examen in its traditional five-step structure (morning and evening forms), the thirty-day Spiritual Exercises retreat, a curated daily prayer and daily quote drawn from Catholic tradition, a prayer library of central Catholic prayers in Latin and English, and a section on the life, spiritual legacy, and sacred places of Saint Ignatius. It is designed as a companion for personal prayer and the long Ignatian retreat.

Via Virtutum is a Catholic devotional app offering a 52-week walk through the virtues most essential to the Catholic soul, with a featured saint, a passage of Scripture, a fuller reflection, and a prayer composed for each week. It is designed as a companion for personal prayer and spiritual formation.

All seven apps are developed by Sanctified Souls.

The prayer texts in Suscipe — the Suscipe, Anima Christi, Pater Noster, Ave Maria, Gloria Patri, Memorare, Veni Creator Spiritus, Salve Regina, Angelus, Te Deum, Magnificat, Act of Contrition, and the daily prayer cycle — are drawn from the public-domain Catholic patrimony (the Roman Missal, the Vulgate, the Douay-Rheims, the Raccolta, Edward Caswall's nineteenth-century English, the autograph Spanish of St. Ignatius, and similar canonical sources). Pray them, share them, teach them. The application itself, its design system, and its compiled content are protected.

The texts in Interior Castle — Saint Teresa's Las Moradas, Camino de Perfección, and Libro de la Vida; the prayer library (Padre Nuestro, Ave María, Credo, Salve Regina, Magnificat, Te Deum, Adoro Te Devote, Veni Sancte Spiritus, Sub Tuum Praesidium, and Teresa's own Nada te turbe and other poetry); and the daily Teresian quotes — are drawn from the public-domain Catholic patrimony (Saint Teresa's autograph sixteenth-century Spanish, the Roman Missal, the Vulgate, the Douay-Rheims, and similar canonical sources). Pray them, share them, teach them. The application itself, its bilingual Spanish-English design system, and its compiled content are protected.

The texts in Philothea — Saint Francis de Sales's Introduction à la vie dévote and Traité de l'amour de Dieu; his letters of spiritual direction; the prayer library (Pater Noster, Ave Maria, Gloria Patri, Anima Christi, Sub Tuum Praesidium, and his own Salesian short prayers including Vive Jésus and Mon Dieu, je suis à vous); the Citation of the Day; the Companion of the Day; and the daily Salesian aspirations — are drawn from the public-domain Catholic patrimony. The French is drawn from the Annecy Œuvres complètes (vols XI–XXI, 1892–1923), the critical edition of the saint's writings. The English is drawn from H.B. Mackey, OSB, Letters to Persons in the World (London: Burns & Oates, 1894) for the letters; from the public-domain English Treatise editions; and from the public-domain English Introduction editions. The Pater Noster is rendered in the pre-Vatican-II formal vous form, consistent with the app's traditional Salesian register. Pray them, share them, teach them. The application itself, its bilingual French-English design system, and its compiled content are protected.

Disclaimer

Our apps are devotional resources and do not represent official Church teaching. Where an app draws on private revelation — such as the revelations of Saint Bridget of Sweden in St. Bridget Prayers — those revelations are presented as piously credible private revelation, received by the Church with devotional seriousness but not as binding doctrine. The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius in Suscipe are presented as a classical Catholic spiritual practice with a long history of approbation; they are not a substitute for a directed retreat under a qualified Catholic director. The mystical writings of Saint Teresa of Ávila in Interior Castle — Doctor of the Church — are presented as a classical Catholic spiritual tradition received with the Church's approbation; the thirty-day retreat through the Seven Mansions is offered as a companion to personal prayer, not as a substitute for spiritual direction under a qualified Catholic director. The writings of Saint Francis de Sales in Philothea — Doctor of the Church — are presented as a classical Catholic spiritual tradition received with the Church's approbation; the thirty-day retreat through the Introduction à la vie dévote is offered as a companion to personal prayer, not as a substitute for spiritual direction under a qualified Catholic director, and the Direction of Intention is offered as a small Visitation practice for the laity, not as a substitute for the formation of a religious. While we strive for accuracy in saint biographies, Scripture, prayers, and liturgical content, we encourage users to consult official Church sources and a parish priest for matters of doctrine, sacramental practice, and serious spiritual direction. Our apps are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Vatican, the USCCB, the Society of Jesus, the Order of Discalced Carmelites, the Order of the Visitation of Holy Mary, or any diocese.
